Collaboration with Motueka South School

When Tasman’s Motueka South School decided to update the look of their staffroom, resource room and breakout space, they chose class* for the project. We asked School Principal Michael Harrison a few questions about the project:

Why did your school think about going with class*?
Over the years we’ve used a number of different providers with varying results and satisfaction.  When additional property funding was provided to address infrastructure, The Board made the decision to build a new staffroom, teacher resource area, completely upgrade the hall and create breakout areas. We wanted vibrant, flexible, modern and comfortable products, while ensuring that all areas had good flow. 

The Board had confidence that class* would meet all those requirements, and stay within budget.

And you’re pleased with your new furniture?
Our staff love having a new modern, multi-purpose, vibrant staffroom where different types of furniture work together.  Furniture is moved around depending on how they want the space to work for them, e.g., relaxing, collaborative discussions, meetings, PLD, etc.

Was there a single most important thing that made your school choose class*?
We felt that what class* offered was what we wanted, i.e., a variety of options, quality, vibrancy and cost efficiency.  We felt they were going to be the right fit for our school and staff needs.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?
The catalogue and website are easy to use, which allowed us to choose a list of possible options. Brent from class* then worked with us onsite making suggestions and discussing considerations before final selection. The class* team’s communication regarding product options, timeframe for delivery, and cost was excellent too. Their support for our project was outstanding.
