Principal Shannon McDougall of Tokoiti School answers a few questions about why his school decided to shop with class*
What made Tokoiti School decide to purchase from class*?
Brent! I have been at the school for a number of years and he always makes a point of calling in and he has developed a relationship of trust so we were confident in purchasing from him. He is honest with his recommendations and has a wealth of knowledge that he shares in order to allow our school to purchase the best for the students of our school. He is a valuable asset in a world that has moved to online catalogues with no after-sales service.
What did you want from the new furniture and how does it meet those expectations?
I love my new table – although I did roll it at parent-teacher interviews, so I might need more lessons on how to make it work! The equipment is of very high quality and furniture that we have purchased in the past still looks new beside our new tables. That is a testament to the quality of the furniture.
How has having the new furniture impacted on students learning-wise (i.e. they fidget less, interact with each other more, interact with the teacher more)?
The furniture has been designed with students and teachers in mind. I especially love the system I have got as it allows me to teach anywhere and gives me space to work one on one with students or slide up to the tables to work alongside a group.
Was there one thing that really made class* stand out?
The real difference is Brent – his knowledge, sales skills and personal connection is sadly a dying art as more businesses move towards online sales. For small schools in the bottom of the South Island, we are often overlooked for this kind of service, and this is the reason why class will be the first place we will go to for furniture, even if it costs a bit more as we know not only is it quality but we will see the rep coming back to stand behind their product.
For over 25 years, class* has worked with schools around New Zealand (and further afield), helping them make the right choices for their particular needs. Our reps work with you to get the result your school is after, while our friendly and efficient behind the scenes team will keep you in the loop regarding delivery and timings.
Give us a call today and try the class* difference for yourself.
